Hello,

I would be giving my gmat this Wednesday and I am expecting a score in the range of 550.

My academics are as follows -
10th-72%
12-73%
Bcom -59%

I have 4 years of work experience and planning to enrol myself in an business school.

Could you please advice the schools I would be eligible in India/ Canada?

Regards,
Prashanth R

It is certainly possible to increase your score further with the right support. Contact me to discuss how Personal MBA Coach can help. The honest answer is that you should continue to focus on GMAT. A 550 from an Indian male is a challenging score to work with. That said if that is your ceiling, we could target schools in the 35-50 range for MBA. Now if you are open to specialized masters we may be able to do more.

I just recently got someone into a specialized masters program at a top 15 school with a very low score (that range) but we would have to have a more detailed conversation.

It is possible to improve score, it all depends on your preparation and ability to implement all of your prep test day. An improvement that would take you into the 600+ is not unheard of. How did the GMAT go?

Prashanth,

A 550 is going to hold you back from good schools. If that is not of concern, then we can identify a few schools for you. Let me know and we can take it forward from there.

Karthik
