Hey guys, why were the daily practice questions replaced for butler questions? And will this remain, or daily questions will come back?

Hi BB - First of all nice to e-meet you and thanks for such an incredible forum.

This is my first time posting here, so please accept my apologies if I am not doing it correctly. I have already completed around 100 GMAT questions (all of them with timer). However, I am receving neither personalized questions nor a GMAT score estimate. I have been reading through the forum, looking for more information but I have not been able to find a solution. Do I have do do something else to receive these two (mainly the score estimate)?

Hi I don't see my estimated GMAT score (it shows static 450, 35+21) despite attempting more than 125 Questions in last 2 weeks, is this tool working or has been made defunct?

Yes, that's how it was earlier for me. But since the last few weeks, I have been getting only PS and CR everyday. Is there any setting that I need to change to get DS and SC on alternate days? I haven't found such a setting so far.

Edit: I received DS and SC questions in the Daily Practice Questions today. Thanks bb!

bb , Bunuel, whoever made the new Ui, theres a bug.
once I've attempted the timer for the first time I cannot add the mistake and notes part. i have to refresh the page for that button to be enabled.

also I really like the calculator and the ability to see my previous attempts to a question. but i feel like it would really stand out if it were in Orange and had atleast some similarity to the previous UI. thats just my feedback, love the functionality tho.

thanks for making gmat prep so affordable and easy to access

Thank you for your feedback. We are working on the "Add Mistake" bug and hope to have it fixed by tomorrow. Just to clarify, would you like the calculator to be more prominent, perhaps with a different color? Or did you have something else in mind?

not the calculator, I love that the calculator is similar to the one on original test.

as for the UI of the GMAT timer cutout. I feel it would stand out better if it retained the old colours which I guess were orange and Blue on a beige background.
The new UI is an 11/10 for functionality but would need a little getting used to since it has a white background like the rest of the webpage
Due to which it kind of gets lost between all the other infomation on the page. maybe it's just that ive been using this functionality daily since the last 6 months, so my eyes just need some time to set to the new UI.

FAQ:

What is GMAT Club Forum Timer?
The forum timer can be found in the question discussion forums such as DS, PS, CR, SC and is found on top of every question post. Here is how looks:

Where can I find the questions?
You can find questions in your GMAT Club Error Log or via email.

How often will I receive questions?
You will received a personalized compilation of questions every day Monday through Friday

Will my questions be always personalized?
No. We will start sending a personalized selection as soon as you take at least 6 timers in a week

How many questions are personalized for me on a daily basis?
You will receive 4 Quant (PS or DS) and 4 Verbal (CR or SC) questions as well as one tough and tricky question of the day. However, the tough & tricky question is the same for all users, so you can have with it and see if you can beat the crowd to the answer & solution!

When will my GMAT score estimate be available?
Once you take at least 6 questions in each of the forums, your GMAT Score will be estimated the following day. Your section scores (quant and verbal) will be available after you take 12 questions (6 in PS and 6 DS or 6 in CR and 6 in SC)

Where can i find more questions to practice?
You can find the questions nicely categorized in our question banks section or in one of our question directories

Why do you not send out questions on the weekends?
We believe that there is time to work, take CAT's, and time to rest. We suggest that you either rest or take a full size CAT test on the weekend (if you are ready that is)

bb, Bunuel, i love that you took my suggestion and made the timer popup bg a bit darker so that it pops out.
i just have one more request. everytime i open a question, i prefer that it shows the history by default. but I always have to manulally open it back agian because it takes the default setting of my pervious question which is always going to be minimised since the popup does that automatically as soon as i start the timer. due to this for every question i have to click on show history and its kind off annoying.

another issue is that the show answer bar is too big and a small accidental click ruins the question for me. since i then cannot attempt it without knowing what the answer is supposed to be. maybe we could get the difficulty level there or something else.

also the ability to see all my previous attempts to a timer is game changer, i absolutely Love it!!
