Hey brother!

1) after submit
2) I choose community service, (sorry dont remember the other choices) for my significant NPO work. Didnt have anything significant for collegiate work, personally I prefer to put fewer but valuable activities, my logic is : they aint got much time to review so quality and concision is the key :)
Hope this helps!
Cheers

Thanks :)
So, 2 of my most significant extra curricular activies are (1) Chief Mentor at my office's internship problem for 3 years, (2) President for my office's Sports and Recreation Club for over 2 years.

How would you categorise them as per the options?! I'm confused as hell!

Already did that... let me try to see if any of their options fit, else I'll skip adding these to the application.

Thanks for the advice!

EDIT: I've never seen anyone named Kaustubh on any online boards! How rare that we both are in the same forum! :D

yeah even I did the same, most of my activities are not mentioned in the website options. So I wrote those in my resume.

by the way, did you submit your application??

He he, I have also seen you here for the first time on gmatclub.com.

I am from Mumbai. This name is not so common yet we meet, applying for the same college...:)

As far as I remember, the recommendations have to be submitted within the deadline, does not matter whether before or after submission, otherwise the application is incomplete. Please check with the Adcom.

You can notify again, there will be no problem, but Please check with the Adcom to be on the safer side.

Nope, haven't submitted application yet. Will submit in a few hours, though.
The deadline is 5pm eastern US time, which is 3:30am India time 21 Nov. (I think!)

Let's see which school we end up going to. If same, that'd be fun! :D

The deadline to submit application is 5pm EST or midnight EST? (20th Nov; today!!)

P. S. - I didn't find relevant information on the website, although https://twitter.com/GBSAdmissions/status/403171613719658497 says it is midnight.

Once application is submitted, you have until December 3rd to submit any pending materials. Including recommendations. Got an email saying so.

Thanks for the information,

However I have 3 more doubts:

1. When do we get the OPUS ID, I mean in how many days after submission? Also we Indians don't have social security number.
2. As per GBS, our application with in printable format will be available for us to see in the documents section of the application website, within 24 hours of application submission. This is appearing on my page too, however when I click on the view button, nothing happens, rest other items I am able to see and download. Has any one downloaded his/ her application uploaded by GBS?
3. What about the application fee, where does it reflect in the application that an applicant has paid the fee?

EDIT: These doubts are open to all. :P

Yes but they do answer the queries, the same day itself. We need to keep in mind the time difference between India and Atlanta.

2. No idea

3. Have the receipt, shouldn't be an issue.

Submitted!

Recommendations haven't come yet, though. Hoping to get them done this week - hopefully that's not a problem like someone said above.
Good luck, guys'n'gals!
