What are live feed lists? First post/waitlisted here, as well - I haven't heard anything positive or negative yet

I phrased that ambiguously. On the main forum, along the right is an application tracker. After expanding it to see all updates, one can see that yesterday someone listed as 'private' changed their status to 'accepted from the waitlist'

No news here. I was dreading the ~Noon time when it seems like release emails go out.

I don't know the cadence each day tho - Noon emails, and calls whenever? End of day?

I only applied to HBS and Kellogg in Round 2, got into Kellogg with a scholarship, so think I may take that. Sucks to come this close at HBS (tempts you to reapply...) but I know every year is ultra-competitive. No shame in being here at the bitter end y'all.

I agonized over what to do - If anything. Definitely read all the literature out there about potential action items.

Was thinking about visiting again (this week, but didn't), having a few short emails of support from alumni (not ultra-influential alumni tho; just successful people)...ultimately decided against that too because generic/they don't know me that well. Also decided against an "update letter" written by me b/c IMO only worth something if a material, material thing has changed in your profile.

My only points of contact have been: 1) directly replying on March 25th saying I wanted to be on waitlist and HBS was unequivocally #1 for me (so they at least know if they called, I would say yes) and 2) indirectly my CEO (not HBS alumni tho) sent a 1.5 page "letter of support". That could end up coming back to bite me in the ass if was annoying/solicited, but for my own personal "I did all I could" I had her send it.

Really I don't know the playbook and what works tho.

Anyone hear anything yet today?

After re-reading last week's email, the only thing it sounds like was guaranteed from a timing perspective was that the 40 rejections would happen by the end of today (it didn't actually specify the timing of the 20 calls or notification for the 40 still on the waitlist).

I tend to agree with you, as that was the second, focal sentence after the intro - that from last Friday to this Friday, they expected to release 40 via email.

I guess my sense was that the 20 admit calls would happen over this period concurrently, as well. But, you're right - Under a strict reading, calls would start last Friday, but there was no end point. They could make 1 last Friday and 19 next Wednesday, theoretically.

Yeah I was also hopeful that calls would happen over that same period, so that today would be our last day of waiting (at least for this cycle of admits/releases). Considering it's Friday afternoon and no one on this thread has reported a call, I feel like this is going to extend into next week (ugh)

Was released from the WL on Wednesday via email. HBS was my number one, but I was accepted at INSEAD as well so that's not such a bad alternative! Good luck to the rest of you still waiting for news.
