Where did you find the R3 deposit deadline? I thought it would be closer to the end of the month...

It’s Eileen Chang with a waitlist update.

Round 3 is complete - yesterday was the deadline for Round 3 admits to let us know their matriculation plans.

At this point, we will be paring down the waitlist significantly. We plan to release the majority of the waitlist tomorrow and will hold on to about 10-12 people.

Next week, I will be in touch with this smaller group with more details. I anticipate there will still be spots in the class, so the waitlist will remain active until the end of June.

Thank you for your interest in HBS and for your cooperation during the waitlist process.

Spoke too soon, got that email too! I'm guessing I'll get released tomorrow, I do not want to remain on the waitlist until June! That's too much :(

Seriously, best of luck, all! No matter what happens tomorrow we'll all be fine in life :) Thanks for contributing to this little community and helping to ease (and share) the anxiety. I was hoping for a surprise fluke where all of us would get in, but that's ok. Life continues and we'll be aok!

I still check this thread periodically hoping to hear good news for y'all. Remember - It's always better still having that chance than being on the outside looking in, so stay strong, you've made it this far.

It was good feeling camaraderie with y'all - Best of luck today and in all your future plans.

Well, we can be friends then because I didn't receive any news. I really need closure, I don't think I can handle another month of this waiting / being in limbo. I really hope they decide our fate soon!!

Just found this thread...I'm not really hoping for anything, but here is an email I was sent last week.

It’s Eileen from HBS with a waitlist update.

We are closely monitoring the composition of the class, which continues to remain full. Again, any activity on the waitlist is contingent upon a cancellation.

We plan to close the waitlist on June 30. At that point, we will release everyone to pursue other plans. Until then, we will use the waitlist if a spot opens up and needs to be filled.

Feel free to get in touch if you need to...email remains the best way to reach me. You have all been extremely cooperative.

For everyone who was dinged off the waitlist, did anyone receive any feedback from HBS directly? I got dinged from R2 waitlist in May. I emailed Eileen once and the admissions team once asking for any kind of feedback as I am planning on re-applying. However, didn't get any replies.

Wondering if anyone else had better luck getting some guidance on the admissions team's thought process here. Thanks! And for those still on the waitlist, hang in there!
