"January 26, 8:40 PM: I've read three chapters of an NYU-Stern professor's Finance PowerPoint presentation in the past couple hours. It's amazing how much Finance you can learn in a short amount of time when you're not doing the case method."

yeah i agree, I also noticed this line...
but then doesn't the case teaching actually expect to you learn the theory material via texts, slides etc before you start reading a case...it's not like they teach you the hard skills through case itself or am i mistaken?
