How was the interview experience for the R3? Was it difficult or pressing? Or everything went basic?
I have heard that r3 is tough at HEC MiM.

Hello everyone, I just had my interview and I hope

this will be of help to some people*

It went alright I believe. There was hardly any focus on the "why HEC" kind of specific questions which was surprising to me.
You will also be first meeting with some student ambassadors before you’re shifted to your interview breakout room. It was a pleasant experience interacting with them - just seeing and conversing with them helped me calm my nerves!


I would recommend keeping these ideas in mind, as they will be the general framework of the interview. However, depending on your resume/essays, they may ask you very specific questions about your experiences and interests. I am heavily involved in music so I was asked about record labels I look up to, different genres of music I am into and why, and my thoughts on some aspects of the creative culture in France

Don’t have your answers too rehearsed, just treat it like a conversation (which it is). My interviewer personally told me I knocked all of my answers out of the park and it was a fun/interesting discussion. I’ll know the end results in a week of course but these are just ideas I would keep in mind regardless. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask

most colleges have 0-2 yr criteria

A lot of people pursue mim straight out of undergrad and a lot of them do it after an year’s experience. So overall, it really depends on what you want more than anything
