Hello everyone!
I completed my application in R3 and I’m waiting for the admissibility results on March 24.

I was just wondering: I noticed that the committee has not checked my Cambridge results yet (Cambridge would have automatically sent me an email if they did so).
Is it a bad sign or it’s just normal?

Sorry, but HEC MIM is my first choice and I’m getting quite anxious about the results. 🥲

I know as well an Italian guy that got in with 690 gmat.

Anyway, how much do you think that the Bachelor's university ranking/prestige count on the overall application?
I think I have an overall solid profile and a good GPA (with 710 gmat), but I have a weak point on the bachelor's university ranking. It is definitely not a top-tier university. Do you think that this detail alone can have enough weight to discard my profile?

Bachelor's university ranking and reputation do count towards the overall profile.
However, note that it is as important, if not more, to have created substantial impact at your college as it is to have a college brand. In my opinion, having commendable extracurricular activities under your belt and positions of responsibility at a tier 2 college can offset, let's say an average profile from a top tier uni.
That said, if you think that you have an overall solid profile and a good GPA + GMAT, you should apply and sit back with fingers crossed.

One scenario in which it may come down to college is when they have to evaluate a very similar profile to yours (industry and goals etc), which is highly unlikely.
