If you have a legitimate issue, please post it. If someone has tagged BB or Bunuel on an issue you are having, there is no need to tag them again. Can you please respond to my below queries:

1. Sep 1st 8 Am PST question: https://gmatclub.com/forum/hot-competit ... 32942.html. I got the answer for the question right but could not see kudos and points for this correct answer.
2. Aug 31st 8 PM PST question: https://gmatclub.com/forum/hot-competit ... 32870.html . My answer is correct. I got kudos from GMATmronevsall who is not a moderator. No kudos was given yet. I agree that my explanation might not be too convincing, which in case 100 points. Does not makes sense. However, Request you to check once again regarding kudos by non moderator and if anything can be done.

i know that you are busy with lot of organizing and managing stuff with respect to competition.
But, Still I request you to check at my request once and respond.
I am not feeling the game is going in a fair way. people who are 1000 points below me earlier have climbed up 1000 points above me. If I don't get for whatever i deserved, whats the use of the game?
Could you please respond to my queries or remove my username from the competition along with the score permanently.
Please show some respect towards us as a human.
How many times I have to follow up on this?
Please let me know if I need to reach out to someone else?
Responding to a query/questions is a minimum courtesy i guess.
Later when you respond and say the reason that don't gave me kudos or marks, then I will be very happy to accept your inputs and mistakes.
Please do not make the competition unfair.

aswindvc, BB or someone else can look into this for you, per his response, but do know that you will be penalized any points that are found that you claim are not there. Further, know that mods are given instruction on how to award kudos, so if they didn't give you kudos for your post they did not see something that they wanted to see. The best way to go about this latter issue is to reach out to the mods who were giving kudos during that time period and asking them directly. Also, comparing your own response to those that received kudos should also give some insight into what went wrong. I also recommend you read the statements above, as BB has responded to you directly.

For everyone else reading this, please know that BB or Bunuel should be the LAST option. Try to solve it on your own. If no answer, ask other users. If still no answer, ask the moderators who were running the question (giving kudos). If still no answer, then tag BB.

Thank you for bringing up your thoughts, it is important that you communicate your concerns with us.

However, on behalf of all moderators and as a winner of last year's GOT competition, let me begin with stating that this competition is as fair as it can be. We carefully do read and review each and every single explanation posted as we understand how busy you are and we wholeheartly appreciate your enthusiasm and dedication to the game. With this said, not a single post shies away from our sight (but as we all all human beings, mistakes do happen and we rush to fix them).

If your post did not receive kudos, this means it was not up to par, it lacked merits to be awarded with kudos. Please bare in mind that not only you have to get to the correct answer in your post, but also you have to walk us through your process, explain why each incorrect answer is incorrect (point out all mistakes it has got) and why the correct answer is correct. I double checked your posts and can confirm that to my greatest misfortune you did miss some important points as to why incorrect is incorrect. To make my point clearer, this https://gmatclub.com/forum/hot-competition-1-sep-8am-stating-that-one-of-its-major-challenges-332942.html#p2607514 post of yours ignored the fact that there is difference between "economic" and "economical", and this is just one example.

Also, all decisions of moderators are final and non-negotiable. We are happy to correct our mistakes, but that does not happen often.

We are very sorry that you are so frusturated but the most important prize you get is learning and it is hard to argue with that :)

We encourage you to keep up your work, and trust me there are plenty of chances coming up to catch up ;)

My two cents..

Although I agree that some improvements can be made on this competition, this one is clearly stated. :

So given that it affects us all in the same way, we just have to live with that and I think that is pretty fair for all the participants.

In addition, have you compared the answers that you gave to those that other participants made? don't ask questions you already know the answer to.

Finally, remember the objective of this competition is to try to win by portraying all the hard work that you have made preparing for the gmat.. oh and guess what! you also receive prices for doing that..

First you have to be self conscious and then you can start looking for answers.

Appreciate and Thanks for the quick response.
Earlier I tried doing the same by tagging in moderators, but even without giving a warning bb banned my username for the day.
If kudos or points got missed its definitely not moderator's fault but yes there is a chance of bypassing the posts as you people have to deal with humerus number of posts.
Apologies If I am being rude here. Can you please check my above queries and let me know for what I can be awarded kudos and points and for what no kudos because of improper explanation.
I am ok to accept any kind of inputs.
Almost 500 points are missing from my dashboard which could take me up one or 2 position higher.
I request you kindly check once and let me know if you can do anything needful please?

Thanks for the quick response. I agree with most of your points except "economic" and "economical".
I chose to explain the answer with subject verb and tense discrepancies. It will be highly impossible to think in your perspective and provide the answer.
If my way of explaining does not make sense at all, then yes you can ignore that option and I completely agree.
But its tough to expect the points what is running in your mind.

Moreover, My multiple posts are because of not getting responses from Moderator.
Second concern is bb banned my username even without given a warning sarcastically stating about his powers.
Is this the way to write to a dignified professional who is having 15+years work experience?
That's the reason, I too sarcastically asked me to remove my points and remove me form the competition.
No matter how we big we grow in life we should be courteous and gentle towards other persons.
I may just be a intern user in Gmat club, but I am in a high managerial position in a respectable company.
So please verify twice before posting the comments.
Also, One should be warned before banning directly.
Some sort of protocols would be generic across the globe.
Thanks for your response finally and now I am satisfied atleast and got to know what are your thought behind not providing kudos.

I dont know how much experience you have or your career but please please please for the love of everything - STOP COMPLAINING.

That's the issue - you have been tagging ALL moderators with your posts (which is the reason I have banned you for 24 hours on Saturday - you were selfish and had complete disregard and lack of respect for other people and in this case, volunteers and people who sacrifice their time to benefit others. You on the other hand, were wasting their time for a selfish purpose beucase you felt your explanations were amazing and we somehow did not notice them?

If you don’t stop wasting our time, I will have little choice but to close your account because I clearly have failed to explain in other ways.

See Ashwin, I still don't get what the kudo fight is all about, all i know the main motive behind the competition is to get people a reality check where they stand. I am sure none of the answer poster is a newbie in whole GMAT thing, because i myself was not able to solve questions initially.
Since you guys are well know to GMAT Questions and Their ANSWERS all i know you guys won't be needing extra course or material up your sleeve to put focus on. especially when ROUND 1 is round the corner.
Other than that, in place of being humble to have this opportunity to get through your study through a friendly competition. this thing has turned into a cold kudo war. (I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED)
I just hate to crack your bubble, but i guess no moderator or admin have done any mistake in supervising this whole competition which obviously look like a question posting easy thing. BUT I AM DAMN SURE ITS MORE THAN THAT.
Even if someone by chance skipped your answer, we all must be having legit reason, so its better to accept that and let it go because tagging mod again and again is getting on nerves, PRETTY MUCH.
All you can do is increase your efforts and put LEGIT solutions so that if you don't get award you can connect to the respective moderator. AND IF by chance that moderator or even me is offline. Its everyone's morale duty to wait till it get solved.
I am not EXACTLY BEING RUDE, But you guys should understand All Admins/Moderators are well served professionals. they don't have time to exactly go through the hundred of messages daily nor we like to get spammed.
SO IT WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED, if YOU ALL GUYS can take these remaining 4 days of competition as a friendly match. No need to Slaughter others and ESPECIALLY Admins/Moderators.
And IF we are wrong, just drop a message we will sort that out.

That's the least you guys can do in return favor.

aswindvc bro just stay calm and focus on getting right all further question with good explanations.
Don't be disheartened, i had too faced similar issue but realized and improved my explanations. Initially i was in top 5 then reached to 10 then again on 4.
So just focus on further, don't look in the past that you cannot change. Look ahead where you can improve and get kudos from the moderators.
