1. I see points added for the 27th. At 23:59:59 on the 27th.

2. On the 28th you only took 16 questions.

The time zone was incorrectly set up. Smart idea to switch into Pacific time but you did not enable to daylight savings time. Therefore you were an hour earlier. You should have noticed it because all the questions are posted at 8 AM and 8 PM whereas in your account, it shows up at 7 AM and 7 PM. I change the daylight savings time for your account. Now all your times should be correct.

Conclusion: no issues with the calculation of the timer bonus.

Dear Bb,

I have got 13 kudos but in my stats it says only 10. I was only wondering if you could check on it please.
points for explanations and kudos from yesterday have not been awarded yet.

Quote:
Also I have taken 30 timers on the 26th and a27th of August. But the 50 points were not added.

Please can you check on this.

Thank you so much.

You counted them Using pacific time? Or some random time zone?

Posted from my mobile device

I counted them using pacific time only. also i do all the question in same time to avoid any confusion like these. So I have got marks for 2 days already.
please find attached screen shot. Its easy to calculate ..the time in my error log is aligned with pacific time only. becoz i attend the questions in morning and time is shown for night. i keep checking time parellely after each question. so its not according to my current time.

PFB the screenshots:
the time is according to pacific and not IST time.

Yes now i got it, it was the day light saving.
iI mentioned 27th as a reference only for 26th timings. I did get scores for 27th.
Also initially daylight saving was not set in error log. But as you said, now i see all the 26th questions got shifted to 27th(so many question are there for 27th now.) as the daylight setting is set now.

Well now i wont have problem i guess.
Thanks bb :) Daylight saving was the issue.

Dear Varunsawhney8 ,

I have also reported the same for Question. As the coefficient of m will be 1 which is not in options.

Dear bb Bunuel,

Please look into this question.

Hi bb,

Could you please also look into this CR question from GMATWhiz (https://gmatclub.com/forum/hot-competit ... 32612.html)

The explanation provided by GMATWhiz is self-contradicting (screenshot attached). Would be great to have some clarity regarding the final answer.

The answer I arrived at didn't match any of the options. Hence, didn't post or attempt the question.

There must be a lot of folks who haven't attempted the question and/or posted explanation.

Hi bb,

Could you please check this SC question (screenshot) added on 31 August at 8 pm, Pacific time.

A comma is missing in option D - is this a typo? Because it seems that comma is not part of the underlined portion in the original question.

Even if there is some kind of typo in SC, you must select the choice with least error. That's the first rule of SC.

Not quite right.

You are to choose the best answer from among the choices provided. There is no requirement to accept typos that produce incorrect sentences.
