Hi,
I wonder, how long would you say one needs to go prepare solid applications for say 5 top schools of your choice (primarily Ivy League schools), while still preparing for GMAT at the same time:
Assuming:
* 5hrs/Day available between GMAT and MBA
* 4Hrs/Day allocated to GMAT prep.
* No major full-time responsibilities.
Also, any notes on how to best manage the time here?
Thanks
Hi TargetMBA007
naturally, this really varies and is super hard to predict. Some school apps are longer (INSEAD!) than others (Ross) and some candidates manage to find the stories very fast (in which case we only do with them several revisions), vs. some that don't (in which case, we talk for hours, try out several ideas, discuss and discuss again... you get the picture).
As a thumb rule, we at
ARINGO usually take into account 2-3 months of ~1 hour a day (after the initial ~10 hours at the beginning) to prepare ~5 apps.
ARINGO specializes in working with candidates wit low GMAT scores or that come from over-represented backgrounds. in case this is relevant, feel free to send me your CV, GMAT timeline, the school wish list etc. to
ShimriW@ARINGO.comGood luck!
