4 digit numbers greater than 3400
Case 1: Starting with 3_ _ _ (We have 4 digits 4, 5, 6, 7 for first place 5 digits to be used at first and 4 to be used for second empty space so total numbers = 4*5*4 = 80
Case 2: Numbers starting with 4, 5, 6 or 7
4 _ _ _ Numbers = 6*5*4 = 120
5 _ _ _ Numbers = 6*5*4 = 120
6 _ _ _ Numbers = 6*5*4 = 120
7 _ _ _ Numbers = 6*5*4 = 120
Total Numbers = 120*4 + 80 = 560
Answer: Option C

first determine no which are >3400 and <4 THOUSANDS PLACE
total possible places = ; 1*4*5*4 = 80
and now number from thousands as 4 ; 4*6*5*4 = 480
Total possible numbers ; 480+80 ; 560
