Are you reviewing every wrong answer every day? How long after you get it wrong (the next day, 2 days later, etc.)

I like the idea of keeping an error log, but I want to use it as effectively as possible...

Review your error log weekly. If you see that you're making a mistake again and again - create flash card or find any other way to store that question at a place where you can quickly have a look at it frequently. Do anything you can to not repeat the same mistake again!

Are you reviewing every wrong answer every day? How long after you get it wrong (the next day, 2 days later, etc.)

I like the idea of keeping an error log, but I want to use it as effectively as possible...

Idea of making flashcard or noting down in notes is good for revision.
Whenever you review the questions, make sure you don't remember the answer.
Concentrate on the approach to trace out the correct answer.

Below point is a gist from Foundation verbal book(Manhattan),
If we take notes as you work, and when you review later you smile and nod.
But with flashcards when you later review your flashcards, you actually solve the problem. If you have forgotten the answer(better if you, as you should know the strategy rather than an answer), you can tend to take risk and commit to an answer you’re not sure of.

I usually review each question after I attempt it. I do not let it go unless i understand it :)
