Hi rakeshvenkat,
Since you last took the GMAT, some changes have been made to the Exam (both the Quant and Verbal sections have fewer questions and you are given less time to work through each section). In addition, it's possible that some of your GMAT skills have 'faded' over time - so the first logical step would be for you to take a FULL-LENGTH CAT in the current format so that we can assess your current skills, strengths and weaknesses. Based on the lengthy time since you last studied, you would probably be fine using the free CATs from
www.mba.com to start. Once you have your score, you should post back here and we can come up with a study plan.
Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on your prior studies and your current goals:
1) How did you score on your first Official GMAT (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
2) What study materials did you originally use?
3) What is your overall goal score?
4) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
