Thanks GMATCoachBen. That takes away the only ray of hope for getting through GMATOnline!

Souvik - Not sure if you have access to a touch screen laptop, but it will be helpful to understand if it is possible to use stylus/ fingertip on a touch screen laptop to use whiteboard. If so, it will make life much easier.

Unfortunately, using a stylus/fingertip is not allowed.

More details, thanks to bb, here: https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-online- ... l#p2498137

I have already changed my GMAT dates thrice, thanks to COVID. Have further pushed it because there's NO way I can manage without a scratch pad. Please analyse the difficulty level along with the ease of using the white board and let us know if it's worth. I am only a beginner, but had no idea things would turn out this way.

shivangishar : you said you rescheduled your GMAT 3 times. Was there any reschedule fee charged after the 1st reschedule?

Hey,

This is actually my very post on this forum!

You will be a reference for many of us who are unsure about the whole GMAT Online thing.

Could you please let me know if we can have multiple "pages" on the whiteboard?
I want to know if one could dedicate a page for multiple "A B C D E" to make it easier when there's a need to eliminate options, without having to write it all over again.

Also, if such an option exists, will the time allocated to write them be part of the exam or something you could do during instructions?

Thank you,

Booked my GMAT test appointment on April 21st - 10:45 PM EST!

Nervous and excited :)

Taking mine on April 24th. 700 hundred in my last attempt, a couple of months ago.

Nevertheless, I've been practicing using a whiteboard for the quant part and the main problem I see is that I try not to write as much and to mentally solve the problems in my head, specially in DS. And to be honest, this strategy is not working very well.

I think I'm going to focus on the first 15 questions and then I'll improvise.

I'll let you know how it goes.

I just did a Kaplan mock test, which I never did before, using the online whiteboard and I got a score of 680. (Q49 and V35).

Regarding quant I was shocked when in question 21 I checked the timer and I only had 14 minutes left!

Nevertheless, my strategy for online:
- Quant: focus on first half of questions and play safe to get a Q48, Q49
- Verbal: as I'm doing it in home I expect to be less nervous. I think I can manage to get to V38, V40.

So if I have a good day, I might get my desired 720-730. However, you all now that the GMAT exam is very mental, so I'll let you know how it goes on Friday

Hi,

Please answer following questions:

1) Is it possible to zoom + - of the test
2) Is it possible to use graph pad rather then general mouse
3) Did proctor interrupt you while passing test, if yes, for what reasons?

Thank you!
