When A is equal to zero, the expression becomes (4-3)^B which means B can also be 1 correct because the base is always equal to 1 when A is 0?

If A = 0, then the base becomes 1.

So the expression is 1^B, which equals 1 for any integer value of B, not just B = 1. That’s why 0 is the correct choice for A.

For the second part, we need a value of B such that the equation holds true for any integer A. Since the base changes with A, we cannot guarantee it will always be 1. The only way to ensure the expression equals 1 regardless of the base (as long as it’s nonzero) is to set B = 0, because (nonzero number)^0 = 1.
