2^x(2^2 - 3*2^x/2) = 5/8*(2^(16-x))

2^x(4 * 2 - 3)/2 = 5/8 * 2^16/2^x

=> 2^2x (5/2) = 5/2^3 * 2^16

=> 2^2x = (2)^16 + 1 - 3

=> 2^2x = 2^14

=> 2x = 14

=> x = 14/2 = 7

Select a random value from choices, lets say x=6
=> 2^8 - 3.2^5 = (5/8).2^10
=> 2^5(2^3 - 3) = (5).2^7
=> 2^5(5) = (5).2^7
the LHS should give a higher value and RHS lower to balance it. So we should try the next one with a slightly higher value

Upon simplification:
\(2^{x+2}\) * (5/8) = \(2^{16-x}\) * (5/8)

which implies x+2 = 16-x,
x = 7.
