C looks OK - but think of it more logically between A and C
C basically draws a conclusion that all audience (even if it is half of the world) - knows the crew personally?

vs
A draws the conclusion with the assumption that restrictions as imposed will be followed.

After having though this way which sounds like a more logical assumption?

Let me try
If backstage passes after concerts are restricted to members of the press and those individuals who personally know members of the band or the band's crew then most of the people who usually flock backstage after shows will be forced to wait outside until the band leaves the theater. So, there will be less crowding backstage after concerts, which will reduce the risk of fights and injuries occurring after the shows.
It means most fights happen because of most of the people who usually flock backstage after shows and not because of members of the press and those individuals who personally know members of the band or the band's crew
Let me know if it helps

The question is about the assumption in the first sentence. Fights are mentioned in the second sentence. The author says that passes should be limited to acquaintances. That means he assumes acquaintances wouldn't fight.

It was tricky but fairly simple. The stem starts with ‘IF’, meaning currently it is not restricted to ‘people who know the band or members personally’.

Only assumption thereby is that people who DO obtain passes ‘currently’ are those who do not know the band members or crew.

Making ans C as the correct one.

Hope it helps.
