Will the degree be awarded by IIM Udaipur or will it be a joint degree?
Does the school accept only GMAT or CAT also?

Hi Mandeep,

Purdue University will confer a degree of M.S. in Global Supply Chain Management at the 
end of the coursework of December (year 1). Additionally IIMU will confer a diploma in 
Global Supply Chain Management at the end of the coursework in March (calendar year 2).

For this program institute accepts only valid GMAT score. For any other information, you can visit IIM Udaipur's official website.

Dear Suresh,

Last year's eligibilty creteria was,
Executives possessing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (in any discipline) and relevant work experience of a 
minimum of 30 months as on 1st of January, 2013 may apply. Corporate sponsorship is welcome but not mandatory. 
The selection of the students will be done jointly by IIM Udaipur and Purdue University, using GMAT scores, essays 
and panel interviews. 
Minimum GMAT score was 600.

Admission form will be out in July.

Hi Parsannajeet
I m neither an alumn of the school nor the adcom, but as far as i knw the stats that you are requesting wont be available as its the first or may be the second batch.
However IIM Udaipur has mentioned that IIM Udaipur will place all the candidates.

As far as Fees is concerned it is around 25lakhs...

1) The application round will commence from September 2013. It started in the same month for the first batch also.

2) We do not have placement figures as of now. The most i can give you is about the class profile and the internship companies:

Class profile consists of people from Automotive, Electrical/Electronics,Infrastructure, Retail, Consulting, IT, Apparel, Aerospace, R&D and Telecom.

Companies the students are currently interning in are: Siemens, Jabong, Cargill, Cummins, Johnson Controls, J.C Bamford, Bharti Walmart, Hyundai, Raymond Apparel and Astra Zeneca.

3) Course fee will sum upto 19-20 Lakhs; Not 25 Lakhs

Average GMAT score for current batch is 650. Average work experience is 4-4.5 years.

As per your PGP Placement report max placement offer was close to 7 lac annum....I think the placement offer for the Dual Degree prog, will also hover around the same. Please share your insights. Also there is a huge difference in the fee structure of both the courses, Hence the ROI of the Dual degree is far less than PGP.

The institute will target companies offering packages CTC between 9-14 LPA considering the work experience the current students have.

Hi,

Since this MBA is in Supply Chain Management so does it require to have SCM experience. I mean I have 5.5 years of work experience in IT then how MBA in SCM going to help me or I just need to justify before interview panel that SCM is the degree I am looking for.

Hi Vikas,

Experience is one of the criteria for admission. It is not a requirement. But yes, SCM work experience candidate will always have an advantage over others. In current batch also there are students from various fields i.e. IT, Retail, Telecom, Power, Automobiles, etc.
