Juice barrel : beer Barrel = 30:80 i.e. 3:8
price of Juice : Price of Beer = 3 : 4
so for 3/8 costs 3/4, ie 3J / 8B = 3/4.
Solving for J/B, we get 2:1
Answer B.

Let the price of one lit juice be X and price of one lit beer be Y.

So the given price ration juice / beer is 3/ 4.

Then 30 X / 80 Y = 3 / 4.

X / Y = 2 / 1 .

Bunuel...is B the correct option ? Please confirm...

Price of 30 L juice= 3x

1L= 3x/30

Price of 80 L beer= 4x

1L= 4x/80

Ratio of 1 L price = 3x/30/4x/80= 2:1

B is the answer

Contribution of 30 liters to the ratio is 3,So Contribution of 1 liter to the ratio is \(\frac{3}{30}\)=\(\frac{1}{10}\)

And Contribution of 80 liters to the ratio is 4,So Contribution of 1 liter to the ratio is \(\frac{4}{80}\)=\(\frac{1}{20}\)

So price ratio between one liter of juice and one liter of beer=\(\frac{1}{10}\):\(\frac{1}{20}\)=2:1

Correct Answer B

Juice price : Beer price = 3:4

Assume price of 30 liter is $300 & price is $400

price of one liter of Juice = 300/30=10

Price of one liter of beer = 400/80 =5

Ratio = 10/5=2/1

We can let a barrel of juice be $300 and thus a barrel of beer is $400. Therefore, a liter of juice is 300/30 = $10 and a liter of beer is 400/80 = $5. So the price ratio between one liter of juice and one liter of beer is 10:5 = 2:1.

Answer: B
