In a certain sequence the first term is 1, and the second term is 2. After the second term, each term can be obtained by subtracting from the previous term the term before it. For example, the third term is 2-1=1. How many different values are possible for the sum of the first n terms ?

The question is screaming to find few terms of the sequence.
The sequence has to repeat if the options given are finite numbers.
The sequence will be 1, 2, (2-1), (2-1-2), ….
1,2,1,-1,-2,-1,1,2…….
Sum of one term = 1
Sum of first two terms = 1+2=3
Sum of first three terms = 3+1=4
Sum of first four terms = 4-1=3
Sum of first five terms = 3-2=1
Sum of first six terms = 1-1 = 0
Thereafter, the terms are repeating.
So, the different terms are 1, 3, 4 and 0.
