y=88
the angles of triangle = 54,82, z

angles in a triangle = 180 and a unique value can be found

B sufficient

m=n

we know x=z

insufficient

St1: clearly insufficient, as we don't have any information except m=n and a angle.
St2: as per exterior angle theorem,y =54+z. And y =88 as per statement 2.so z can be found as 34. Sufficient.

from st 1) m=n which makes x=z ,value of z cant be calculated
st 2) y=88 now if we consider the triangle on the right side then y is the external angle
so y= 54 + x
x=34
so st 2 is sufficient.
