There are plenty of good options in the US outside of the T15 if you want to pivot into management consulting. Schools like Cornell Johnson, Texas McCombs, CMU Tepper, and UCLA Anderson are all such examples of excellent programs with plenty of tech exposure.

The 1-year programs in Europe are also doable. Said and Judge don't have quite the same difficulty of admission as INSEAD, HEC and LBS. I would determine where you want to be geographically and focus on adding a few schools to your list to hedge accordingly.

If my team can assist in any way, don't hesitate to reach out for a free consultation:

Well, the Fuqua EA rejection has me panicking a bit, and I'm now considering expanding my horizons beyond US T-15 & LBS to other schools in UK/EU. My post-MBA goal is to pivot to management consulting, with tech (PM role preferably) as 2nd choice. As an Indian citizen, how easy/hard are these outcomes with a 1Y MBA from schools like Judge/Said/INSEAD, and how sustainable are they in the long run? (beyond the 2 year post-study work permit in the UK for example)

Profile overview
333 GRE, 3.3 GPA. WE: 6 years in product marketing, last 2 years at a soonicorn Fintech startup backed by Sequoia. EC: Not too strong- community volunteering during and after undergrad in education sector (Teach for India and other local NGOs), competed in football/track till undergrad at district and state level.

Hey chirag95,
You seem to have a decent profile, and from my experience with Indian Candidates, probably not highlighting your achievements well enough. While the current cold response by Fuqua may not be a final reject, the truth is there is little you can do to change anything there (to some degree you can though). That said, in your place, with such a profile as yours, I would consult a team which can shine my accomplishments better, and bring compelling stories into your essays.

As far as the answer to your question, Judge, Said, INSEAD are all excellent programs, provided a) they match with your career goals b) your clarity of thought of your planned career path is communicated well, and aligns well.

Hey Tejas183,
With your exceptional GRE score, you should have received an interview invite given the current context of a top school mentioning the first set of interviews based largely on stats and numbers.

Once again, do take a look at your overall story, and check with your peers also preparing for their MBAs.

Ping for a one-to-one, free, 45 mins session to discuss your case in detail...
