For the candidates to January 2012 Round 2, have you already heard some news (accepted &dinged)?
After the interview, did the interviewer tell you whether he would recommend you or not?

I have not yet heard anything, I am based in northern EU (coordinator AN). As for the interviews, one of my interviewers candidly mentioned half way through the interview that she would recommend me. My second interviewer did not comment.

Well during both of my interviews the conversation moved from why do you want to go to INSEAD to "when you get to INSEAD in January"

I hope that's a good sign!! Did anyone have a similar convo with their interviewers?

The best part is asking your girlfriend/boyfriend to marry you this weekend and then hopefully saying: nevermind!!!!!!!!!! Got other plans now! Insead in January! You were just a back up plan in case I wasn't admitted! Just awesome!

One of my interviewers also candidly mentioned he would be recommending me. The second didn't, but our conversation drifted to how there are many accidents each year by drunk students crashing into that roundabout and types of accommodation. She finished up with "great, i'll send in your paperwork later today"

I haven't been so bothered about the wait since no one has heard back yet. Once people start posting responses, i'm going to go crazy!

Oh is it ?? I thought even if accepted, they send an e-mail .. So will have to wait for a +33 now !!! Wait is killin me .. And on top of that ETS hasn't sent my GRE report yet . Received an email from my coordinator for the same and its more frustrating to know that it hasn't reached yet even after 25 days !! never expected this from ETS .. Anybody else faced this kinda problem ? I had to mail my original to INSEAD because they told me that they cannot release the final decision w/o a hard-copy of my original score report .. And now I am more nervous .. God knows what it's going to be !!

No, I've not had issues with ETS, but consider this good news. They can reject you with or without your GRE score. They need it only if they're still seriously considering to accept you. Chin up :)

No, I've not had issues with ETS, but consider this good news. They can reject you with or without your GRE score. They need it only if they're still seriously considering to accept you. Chin up :)

Yeah even I would consider this as good news...They would'nt have asked for your official score report at this stage had it been a straight forward ding.... :)..Atleast it shows that they are seriously looking at your application..

Hey you should not worry about it. Interviewers are not supposed to do provide such feedback (I think they are even discouraged). Those who do are just very chilled.

I was just coming to post that! haha, was just describing to my friend that its just about 8:45. That means the admin staff are now in the office, finnished their morning coffee, done with the chat around the water cooler and wrapping up their first round of email checking and responses. I'm hoping the next thing they do is grab that phone and call me!
