This is quite a personal question that i prefer not discuss publicly.
Concerning your other comment on the waitlist. How do you know INSEAD is holding a lot of people. An earlier post was stating that the waitlist start moving in mid october. So who's right ? I am still holding my breath here :p
That said isnt the waitlist tougher for the january intake because there is less competition with other schools that have only september intakes ?

Oh by the way what i can say about my case is that my profile is very commun: engineering education and consulting background. Additionally my country of citizenship doesnt help. (no i am not indian)

Good point about the January intake... I didn't think too much about it but you are probably right. The January intake probably has a higher yield.
Regarding the actual number on the waitlist, of course I do not know that. I was just trying to point out that I thought that insead had already started accepting people off WL by this point last year. I thought last year they starting taking people off WL by the time they gave out Rd2 acceptances. And this year, they have not taken (almost) anyone off the WL yet?? Not sure.
My main point was that I am surprised how seemingly amazing candidates are waitlisted. The MBA application process is so different from law school or med school! Good luck to all those on the WL!
