I have decided to go to LBS, so will decline my interviews.

Congrats. What was your basis for the choice?

LBS offered a scholarship (which seemed unlikely at INSEAD), preference of finance and slightly longer course made the decision for me. I definitely have a better fit at LBS rather than INSEAD. Variety of exchange opportunities at LBS was also a big draw, just a shame they don't do an exchange with INSEAD, would have been perfect

Would obviously have been very happy to go to INSEAD, but was an easy decision in the end.

I'm also not sure how I feel about the short course. I look at some of my friends in the longer programs and see that they have a lot of time to do all sorts of different things. Anybody I know who went to INSEAD basically planned their exit the moment they got there. It's good and bad obviously.

Anyone for R2 here?

There are a couple around. But it's too early for you guys to start worrying. It's incredible how long this process takes. Other schools I applied to admitted within two weeks of a initial contact. That's not the case here. When they say you'll hear by the last day of their deadline they mean it. They must do some serious scrutinization.

I think insead works more on the American system, Atleast when it comes to the admission decisions . Do you guys feel guilty about thinking that we'll be in? I keep day dreaming of the +33 call and then immediately try and snap back to reality .

I fully admit to being far more excited than I should be. I haven't even had the interview yet. Don't even have it scheduled.

At ESADE I was told that I would be admitted at the end of the interview by the interviewer. At HEC I was admitted two days after the interview.

I think that it is doubtful that the same will happen here. I've looked at some of the previous threads and people in our round didn't usually get in until well after June 17th. So yeah, a month to go at least.
