I told them I want to have my own private equity and/or holding firm base in Asia and expand internationally. With INSEAD network, it will be great for what i want to do. Where will you work ?

Wherever the opportunity is. Think of me as Private Equity's marine.

It is easier for a spouse to get a work permit in Singapore than France, plus she speaks English but not French. That's why I am starting in Singy and then we'll see when and for how long we'll be in Fonty.

I did both my interviews about 2 weeks ago over coffee. Both people were around same age, attended roughly 10 years ago. Similar questions as everyone else and it was very conversational. The second person drilled me a little more on background, why i made certain moves, my goals, etc. In my experience, I spent so much time being introspective during the application process that when it came to the interviews, there was not much to prepare for, it's telling the same stories as my essays. Most important is to be confident. I brought essays but neither wanted to see them. Both gave me some "positive" vibes at the end but said nothing concrete, figures :) Only thing that concerns me is one of my interviewers has taken a long time to send feedback so i hope it doesn't impact both the recommendation quality, or timing.

Oh well, nothing to do now but relax....interspersed with maniacally check phone and emails!

Oh and I was asked about campus choice both times and openly talked about my preference (singapore), tying in with desire to experience living/working in asia.

if you don't mind me asking, how do you how long your interviewer has taken to write the report?

I now realize how INSEAD is interested to know the logic behind campus choice. and how not convincing I was during my first interview. basically, my primary objective is to land a job in management consulting, location does not really matter (Asia or CIS) since you can transfer at some point of time. I will have to articulate my logic more precisely during my next interview. i hope I will get this and some other questions from my previous interview so that I can counterbalance my weak answers from my 1st interview.

does anyone know how exactly INSEAD uses interview reports? what's their logic?

Hey Guys,
I'm taking the level 3 CFA exam tomorrow. Good luck to any of you who might be taking it as well.

After that I'm headed on a very long mountaineering expedition and wont have internet access. I probably wont' be back until right around the time we hear the results. Good luck to all of you on that as well. Hopefully, I'll meet you on the other side.
