Hey Mate,
I m from Lebanon, it's already 3rd of June here...now it's 8:30 AM......
I am doing everything i can to keep my mind of it....you name it: Movies...Drinks...Sport....Work was handy last week (not this week)....Even games on my iPad (last time i played a game i was still a teenager)...the list goes on..........I'm refreshing this blog as if it was my twitter account (@apostatedeconomist :P).......
INSEAD is truly where i want to be........and I'm losing patience in the same fashion the S&P dwindled post Lehman crisis.....will this INSEAD Phone Call Bail me out!!!!

Today is the day! Only a few hours away when the calls start coming in!!

For the last two days I havent let my phone out of sight and have been getting the 'Phantom Vibration Syndrome'(false feeling of the phone being ringing/vibrating).

Goodluck everyone! We have done all we can! All the hardwork comes to this.

Hello all,

It is Tuesday evening in Australia. Finished interviews in early May. Last few weeks have been painful!! This is my first post since my application journey began. Even though I still do not know the outcome, I thought I would start getting involved in the conversation. Like many of you, I have been checking this blog everyday. It has been a breath of fresh air to hear that everyone here is feeling the same set of nerves as I am! I have no back up plan so all my eggs in the INSEAD basket!

Worthwhile just giving a quick thank you to all our loved ones/ family/ friends who have been with us through this journey. I know my wife was getting frustrated at the huge amount of uncertainty this process involved. But I also know that like me, she is nervous for me. I want to thank her for the support up till now and her support she will give me (be it good news or bad!) I suspect everyone else has someone who they have nagged and annoyed about this whole process!

All the best to everyone. I will continue to monitor this blog and look forward to hearing about everyone else!

The biggest challenge we have had is that our lives have been in a constant state of speculation. Like you, my wife may either join me or stay and work....but either way, the state of flux has been challenging!

In Melbourne here, only applied to INSEAD as well. Hoping not have to go through another application. Jumping out of my skin every time the phone goes off.....

So its the Tuesday before the decision deadline that calls usually start going out on. So its going to be a phone call that we receive that will change our lives for ever. So the uncertainly that's been gnawing away at every aspect of our lives will finally be settled with the impending outcome of this arduous process.

So what? Big deal. I'm going to lay back and enjoy the sunny afternoon in Kuwait. So what if its 50 degrees Celsius?

Damn it ... its not working ... I can't stop feeling nervous ... where are my pills?

From India as well. I was under the impression that it was a confirmation email and not phone call! Either way, do we see a pattern of different regions getting called later/ earlier?

As anxious as everyone. Luckily work is hectic right now! :)
