Thank you all for the encouraging words!

I actually felt like giving an 'exaggerated' response which skewed in my favour then but I somehow couldnt bring myself to pen it down. So let's hope the truth works out!

I wished I could sleep all the way till Aug 7 to not experience the burning anxiety! Good luck to all!

Just relax!

This week going to be very interesting, hope all of us here get in!

So I might be getting slightly ahead of myself here, but who cares!

I'll be in India all of this week - ie, not have access to the number that I provided to INSEAD (my Singapore number). Should I email Js and let her know of my new number for the week? Only reason I'm hesitating to do it is that I don't want it come across as being over eager/expecting that I've already gotten in etc. What would be a good way to put it?

Can't you just leave a voicemail greeting message indicating a phone number in which you are available, or maybe redirect the calls to your new number?

Good luck!

I changed my phone number 2 weeks ago and I just sent an email to AO and gave her my new number. She replied saying that she has updated my profile with the new number. I don't think it s a big deal.

Could s.o. with a MBAconnect account have a look how many applicants are there for R3?

@frafrubrabru: wanna share some info on your profile? :)

I don't think MBAconnect can show you the number of applicants. It's a network for admitted students, so, at best, someone will be able to tell you the number of admitted students.

Am I wrong?

Hm, what you say makes sense. From earlier conversations in this thread (e.g. this post: insead-january-2015-intake-class-of-december-165654-280.html#p1370590), I got the impression that MBAconnect was some kind of applicant database that could answer my question. But thinking about it, you're probably right. Maybe more R3 applicants will show when the interview deadline approaches...

No, MBAConnect is a network admitted students gain acess to. That's why people keep asking about its count, so that they can have an idea of how many people are already admitted and how many spots are left in the class. If you check the waitlisted thread, you'll see people asking about it all the time.

I think it's safe to assume there are less applicants in R3 when compared to other rounds, but there's no way to know the exact breakdown. Also, GC is an indicator of how many applicants are there, but we don't know what part of the applicant pool is actually active in this forum. So it's just a guessing game. In the end, less competition would work in your advantage, right?

Good luck!
