I'm definitely hoping so, but who knows - it's all down to blind chance right. 15 people could turn down the offer or every single admitted could accept it. Too many unknowns and variables for me to pin my hopes.
I think we'll have a touch more clarity by 8th August when R2s will have yes/no answers on admission, and even more likely by 10th October for R3s. Looking at the main 2015 admit forum, seems there were a fair few rejections for R2.
I guess the sensible thing would be to start getting other (backup/alternative) plans in motion and getting the ball rolling. As much as I'd love to pin my hopes on this, it's just not logical or rational to do so. Pains me to say it.

Hi all, being an R3 applicant for D15, I have a bit of a silly question: Do people get waitlisted before or after the interview step? Or is either case possible? I was surprised when I read about the practice of waitlisting here. INSEADs website does not seem to mention it (or maybe I just missed it).

. I ve done some research (basically by reading posts on the forums for previous years which is quite depressing) and odds don't seem to be in our favour. There are years with almost no movement and september seems to have more conversions from WL to accepted than January. That being said, when it does move, its usually around the days where other rounds get answers : so in this case some movement could be seen in the next few days or around October 10th. Many people don t get a final rejection email until after class begins. Good luck. 
thanks for the insight though. I guess it doesn't make me feel better that January session's WL acceptance is low
