Thanks for sharing your thoughts! But i think that someone who has gotten through INSEAD would not give it up for HEC etc. So moving on to Plan B seems the most logical thing to do!

EV13, just think that different circumstances can happen. For example, this forum contains the post of one guy, who was admitted this year to INSEAD (I don't remember whether directly or from waitlist), but at that moment he had been admitted to IESE with scholarship, and he even had paid the installment. So decision to choose INSEAD could cost him around EUR20k. I don't remember what school did he choose, but I truly believe this decision was not an easy for him.

Yes, I agree. In the longer view, I think that a lot of people choose a higher ranked school. So the movement on this account is generally very less
where are all the waitlisters on the forum? Kindly update your status here coz last I rem thr were atleast 20 waitlisters and about 7 Indians ! Plz respond
Chances are really melting away (( However a few waitlisters still may receive the invitation up to the mid or December (this is evidenced by threads of previous intakes on this forum and by words of my AO). If you hope for being selected you need at least resolve you visa and relocation issue in advance and be ready to pay about 40k EUR in about two week after your notice - pretty big amount to raise during the short period if you do not posses it in cash.
Weighting all pros and cons I decided to pursue my plans b and even c )) My place in waitlist became vacant - hope it'll help somebody to get in.
As far as I remember 2nd payment deadline is on this week. Hope we'll read some happy posts next days in this thread.

Potentially interesting fact: The alum who interviewed me, has offered me me to join his start-up. That was my post-MBA goal, so I am planning to go ahead. Not sure how to see this in long term but eases me from the agonizing wait.
