Hi,
I am about to give online Gmat exam in few days and today when I did the system test to check my internet speed, download speed is showing 20 Mbps and upload speed is fluctuating between 1.5 and 2.5 Mbps. But the requirement for exam is download speed of 3 Mbps and upload speed of 2 Mbps. I don’t have wired network connection , I am using jiofi to give this exam. What should I do?

Posted from my mobile device
I also have the same question . Also is it allowed to take gmat online in wireless or mobile internet ?

You are unable to actually use a wired connection? Also, have you called the folks at GMAC to discuss the issue?
I just want to know what happens if for some fraction of time internet speeds falls will I be logged out of test or not. If anyone has faced such kind of situation while giving online gmat exam from home.

Did you end up speaking to anyone at GMAC?

You may would like to refer this thread but there are 119 pages. :|

Your query is somewhat answered on page 99.

However, whether you have a wired connection or a internet hotspot(jio/airtel etc.) or mobile hotspot, there is equal chance for each of them to get stuck in between exam.
GMAC has apprehensions with mobile hotspot.

If anybody is using JioFi Here but not getting proper Speed upto 5 MBPS. Then You can use this Guide to Improve your Internet Speed.

1. Place your JioFi Device in Proper Network Area
2. make Sure it is fully Charged
3. Stay within 10 Feet area of the JioFi Wifi Device Range
4. Make sure no device like - Microwave/ other wifi/ bluetooth device or any 2.4Ghz frequency device is in place of you and your wifi router.
5. No Wall barrier should between you and your wifi.
