Hey guys,

I'd like to get investing or finance related volunteer ideas that involve either teaching or being involved with an endowment. Definitely open to other suggestions relevant to my background, and even remote volunteer opportunities.

Dream career is working at a value-oriented asset manager on the west coast (Brandes / Dodge & Cox / Hotchkis & Wiley). I'm aiming for the following programs: CBS Value Investing / Booth / UCLA / Berkeley / Wharton.

Work Background:
Current sell-side equity research associate
1-year Big 4 valuation experience

Academic:
3.8 GPA / Top 50 Undergrad
760 GMAT
Just took CFA level I

Thanks

This is probably a better sub-forum for the question. I assume you have googled this and did not really find anything in your local area.

There are definitely Finance-related volunteer opportunities with educating certain social groups, high school kids, and others about money. Not quite the investment education but rather general finance-related aspects.

Thinking outside of the box, if you don't find anything, you could put together a free course online on coursera or one of the other online course programs but it is not quite the same as having a class/group of people who give you immediate feedback.
