Here goes nothing
12th: 85%
10th: 8.8/10
College: 8.1/10 (Eco Hons. from Symbiosis, Pune)
10 months of experience in advertising, currently a senior creative (youngest in the country). I work with multiple fortune 500 companies and have independently managed retainers of a few crores a year. I have also won new business which was key for the future of the agency in the country.
Extra Curricular: President of the School Council, Head of Marketing for two years in college. I worked with an NGO in 2018 too.
Without knowing your GMAT score, there is really nothing much that can be said.

Need feedback on profile. Applying for ISB EEO.

GMAT - 680 [Q49, V34]
Undergrad - 8.5/10 CGPA [Bachelors in Commerce (Hons) from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi]
12th - 96%
10th - 10/10 CGPA

Other key points:
1. Working at Urban Company (a unicorn startup) in the Growth team since June'21
- High-impact work; understanding consumer problems, building hypotheses, running and tracking experiments with pricing, and working towards solving core consumer problems
- Owning projects; working with multiple stakeholders
2. Did a research project, which is published in the International Journal of Business Insights and Transformation
3. Cleared CFA Level 1
4. Led the finance cell of the college as the Vice President [led a team of 60+ students]
5. Played Table Tennis at the district level

Post-MBA goals - career to switch to Consulting/General Management/Product roles

Any feedback will be helpful. I think the GMAT score can be a blocker here - if yes, what's the ideal score for my profile?

Agreed Dhruv. See if you can get a 710+ and apply in R2.

Hi,
I would like to know my chances for Early Entry Option (EEO) at ISB.

10th - 8.6 CGPA (86%) (CBSE)
12th - 79.2 % (CBSE)
Graduation - Electronics (Instrumentation & Control), Thapar Univerisity Patiala, 6.6 CGPA (66%)
Work Ex - 6 Months internship + 12 Month Work Ex (as on 31-06-2020), both at Deloitte as a Data Analyst (Tax)
GMAT Score - 700

NO GAP YEARS during schooling, college or job. 3 backlogs during undergraduation (cleared at first attempt after re-appearing).

Extra-Curricular -
1. More than 20 medal positions at inter-school and inter/intra university level competitions. (Athletics and Football)
2. Regional level participant at CBSE Clusters (Athletics)
3. Social work experience from 3rd standard till college. (Around 5-7 Social Work certificates)
4. Various positions held at University level (Finance Head, Marketing Head of various university-level societies)
5. Planning to start a tree plantation company (NGO/StartUp) to improve my social work experience (Please post your suggestions on this idea)

If not in EEO, do I stand a chance in the normal entry after a work experience of 4-5 years at other big firms like Amazon, JP Morgan etc?

Thankyou so much for your help in advance :)

Hi Arnav,

You've done good work. For a competitive application a stronger GRE is highly recommended. Through the EEO you are anyways looking at getting into ISB in 2025. My recommendation is to keep on working on the GRE, get a stronger score instead of rushing in with your application now. You have time according to your current plan as it is.

All the best!

Hello All, requesting experts to review my application profile

I am planning to apply in the EEO for ISB Co'26, by then I would have ~3 years of work experience

Current Work Experience: 1.5 Years of management consulting experience at Nomura Consulting (NRI), spanning themes across renewable energy, automotives (EVs and battery swapping), prestige cosmetics and data centers

Bachelors: B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay (CGPA: 7.74/10 or 3.1/4)

Internships: IQVIA (Management Consulting Role), L&T Finance (Research Role), Aditya Birla Capital (Operations Role), Fi.Money (Strategy Role)

Positions of Responsibility: Was the E-Cell (Entrepreneurship Cell) Manager at IIT Bombay, one of the coveted pre-final year PORs at IITB. Along with this was English TA and Hostel Design Secretary. I have also received 2 awards [one being institute organizational special mention (8/8000+), while other being hostel cultural color (3/550+)]

I also actively pursued design during my initial college days and have intermediate level proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (with 3 freelance projects)

Class XII: 81.56%

Class X: 10 CGPA, 94.4%

GMAT/GRE Score: Gave the new short GRE on September 25th and scored 321 (166 Q, 155 V, 4 AWA). Though the score is below average, I am not sure if I should go for another attempt as taking time out of job is very difficult

Thank you!
