What are the chances (percentage-wise) of a convert for an ISB YLP candidate if they’ve made it to the interview stage? Considering the number of seats and # of people selected for stage 3.

Do the odds change drastically if you are from an engineering background?

P.S. - Just curious

The guys who have made it to stage 3 congratulations. In this thread, you see people who say that they had an interview spanning an hour long. Just don't be put off if your interview is not as long. To be honest, not all long interview work in the favour of the candidate, if yours is 30min - 40min, in most cases it means that the interviewer knows all they need to know about you and also that you were well prepared. They usually go for long interviews if they think there are some loopholes and inconsistencies in your application, essay or resume.

Again All the Best.

Has anyone apart from Delhi, agra or Mumbai received their interview call?
Is it true that interview calls are given zonal region wise?

I don't think it's region-wise this time as many would-be submitting their application at random dates. Also, I am from Agra (pre-final with 710 GMAT) and had my interview last Saturday. It lasted for 30 minutes to be precise and they mainly asked questions on my resume and why ISB & MBA questions.

So I am not really sure whether this applies to ISB YLP or not, but if we take into consideration the data provided here :https://gmatclub.com/forum/chances-of-getting-admitted-after-an-interview-230246.html
then I guess conversion after an interview is roughly around 65%. (Correct me if I am wrong)

This data does not look representative.

I have heard from admissions consultants that 25% to 30% get in post-interviews. However, I don't have any data to back it up.

Thanks.

That's true that results are being submitted randomly, but mostly people who got into interviews till now are from Delhi/mumbai /agra.

Okay, ya like u said about your interview and you are from Agra. It's just hypothesis on small data set. There is no huge data set to support it though.

True. To be honest, this year I guess your odds would improve marginally because of rolling admissions as opposed to a single day when everyone's results are declared. Earlier you submit your application the better. But then again marginally improvement.

Hello guys, I am a prefinal computer engineering student from Mumbai. I submitted my application on September 6th and received an application complete email by September 10th. I haven't heard back from ISB since then. My gre score is 327. Anyone else facing a similar issue?
Mt portal isn't locked like someone else in the thread mentioned before so I guess I have chances of getting an interview call? Has it been over a month for someone else before they heard back from AdComm?

Hey. Interviews will take place till Nov 10 so you can receive an email anytime before that.
They're generally going chronologically. It is definitely not city wise.
Most of us who submitted before Aug 31 got an email in about a month.

I don't think it's chronological, since I submitted my application on 6th September and received the interview invite in 15 days of submission.
Ideally, everyone's just guessing what they must be doing but no-one can know for sure. Let's hope for the best.

For peeps who'll have their decisions on Nov 15, the interviews usually close 5-10 days prior to the results. I think something to this tune was mentioned in last year's YLP page on Gmatclub.

But with rolling admissions on and them explicitly mentioning that evalutions will be done till Feb, will the case be same?

They will roll out some decisions earlier than others, as per the email they sent.
