Submitted! I'm a re-applicant. During my previous app cycle, my recommenders slipped the deadline by a few days. Johnson did overlook that and invited me for an interview. So, a day or two should be fine. Dont worry. One of my recommender is travelling and will be able to submit it only by friday. So yeah, I'm in the same boat!

I am also a re applicant. Do we still have to submit two recommendations? I thought we only needed one.

Hey!

Here's what I got when I asked the Adcom about the re-application procedure.

Dear XYZ,

We are pleased that you have decided to reapply to Johnson at Cornell University.

You will need to complete the standard essay questions, plus the essay for reapplicants. In this section you will have the opportunity to outline any updates you may have for us, and to tell us how you have improved your candidacy since last year.

You will need to submit new Letters of Recommendation, and we strongly encourage you to select new recommenders. Even though you are new in your position, it is important for you to identify someone at your new firm to attest to your credibility and work style. Or you may find a professional or professor who knows you well enough to recommend.

This situation can be discussed or referenced in any of your essay questions. You may also use the optional essay question (in your case it would constitute a fifth essay question) to explain this situation and your selection of recommenders. In any of the essays you can also request that the Admissions Committee review parts of your previous application or reference strengths described therein.

In reapplying we strongly encourage you to give serious thought to how you might improve all of your qualifications, and in how that is communicated to the Admissions Committee.

Congrats man.. so they have started rolling out invites.

I submitted on 2nd Oct... but can't interpolate the time difference between submission & invite.

so guess.. i just have to wait and watch.
