I'm an international applicant too (from Australia) and my status is just "submitted" too. I'm visiting the school next month though so I'm hoping I could get an interview invite before then.

Are you a re-applicant? And did you interview last year? Because, schools are known to accept some(read very few) re-applicants without interview given that they interviewed during the previous app cycle.

If thats not the case, then it must be a happy accident ;)

the thing is, i did not receive any link... in fact.

although i read fron cornell's official website that therebwill be an official link on the decision date but still, since i have not been invited for interview yet, i BELIEVE it is a system mistake... :shock:

I'm going to be applying to R2 for Johnson. Great school, fits my career goals, and I think I'd enjoy Ithaca. I get the impression that I'd fit in will with the culture of the school and students too.

However, I most likely will not be able to make a visit to the campus before the R2 deadline. Will this considerably hinder my chances in any way?

Are they like Tuck - if you don't visit Johnson is it a huge turn-off to them?

Hey there

current student here.
You can visit after your application deadline and let admissions know. I would not say that you have absolutely NO chances if you don't visit. However, if you do visit, that will count extra points in your "application package".
Some other Ivy league b-schools are placed in well-known cities (in Boston, Philadelphia, New York...), whereas Ithaca and Hanover are small cities.
Admissions of both schools wants to know if you really want to study there, and visiting is an evidence of commitment.

That's my personal view, not admissions', ok?

Interesting and I haven't heard this before. Is anyone familiar with Johnson's reapplicant interview policy? I interviewed last cycle but was later dinged from the waitlist.
