Are they like Tuck - if you don't visit Johnson is it a huge turn-off to them?

current student here.
You can visit after your application deadline and let admissions know. I would not say that you have absolutely NO chances if you don't visit. However, if you do visit, that will count extra points in your "application package".
Some other Ivy league b-schools are placed in well-known cities (in Boston, Philadelphia, New York...), whereas Ithaca and Hanover are small cities.
Admissions of both schools wants to know if you really want to study there, and visiting is an evidence of commitment.
That's my personal view, not admissions', ok?
