I think they are looking at the applications in the order they were received. I submitted my application on 11:30 pm on 10/2 and my status still says "Submitted".
Mine still says submitted as well. App was completed 9/18 with final rec turned in on 9/27, so I'm not sure they are going in the order they received them in. They are doing well to get through quite a few already it seems like.
Based on what I've gathered, I believe they may review applications based on region. So the regions with more applicants may take longer to get through during the first few weeks compared to others.
"Currently Under Review - We processed your application and supporting documents. Members of the admissions team will review your application. You will receive updates regarding your application status via email and changes to your application status. Please check for updates periodically." ^ me ^ adcom
I submitted mine on 10/2 at 5pm and my status went to "under review" within a week (don't know the exact date). But, honestly speaking, I don't think it means anything. Cornell is known to send invites randomly. Last year I received my invite 2 weeks before the decision date. This year I received within a week..
Anyone know if AMBA is more difficult to get into than the traditional 2 year? I noticed that the AMBA class profiles have been more competitive in recent years. GMAT average was higher as well as GPA.

IMO, it is difficult. I think you need high numbers...think about it: In a class off 55, the average GMAT is 710, so they can only accept few people with low GMAT scores, and you better have everything else going for you to be one of them...
To all that submitted, just an FYI if you are not invited to an interview first, or even weeks after everyone else do not worry, I was invited a day before decision day for round one last year. Good luck all! Waiting is the worst part
Submitted 10/2 Incomplete App Notification 10/7 (my GMAT score report was missing) Under Review: 10/9 Invited 10/16

Hey,
My status had gone to incomplete because one of my recommenders hadn't submitted the recommendation. So, after they submitted the reco, I sent out a mail to Jenna and she changed the status to Under Review.
