We are already reviewing applications of candidates who have pushed their submit button. Apply by the October 1 deadline to receive an initial notification by November 5. Interviews for candidates in Round 1 begin on November 5.
From admissions blog: https://www.johnson.cornell.edu/Full-Time-MBA/Admissions/Admissions-Blog/Post/201773/The-best-time-to-submit-your-application

I guess I've been assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that if interviews were to commence on Nov. 5th that they would send some invites prior to that. Last year it appears that some people received invites in the last week of October. I may be wrong on this or they may have changed their approach this year, but regardless everyone that submitted in R1 should know one of three initial notifications - invitation to interview, waitlist offer without interview or denial of admission - by the 5th.

Good luck! Just going nuts because Johnson appears to be my last hope...

Wow man, you are applying to a lot of schools and a big range too! Puts me to shame, and I cheated by using the Consortium 8-)

They really changed their strategy this year by sending interview invites on a same day.
I heard they interviewed 800 some people and accepted 600 some last year by sending interview invites right after the submission deadline.
With the change, would they have enough time to interview that many people this year? or just be even more selective?

They've already stated that there will be an "initial notification" on Nov. 5th.

At least by then you'll know if you're a clear ding or if you've still got a shot with an interview or waitlist.

Oh, regarding deposits I would think that deposit for all admits are due around the same date regardless of admit notification. But I'm not exactly sure and would probably be a good question to ask admissions.

From last year it appears that admit calls went out starting the day before the decision date and the website:
https://www.johnson.cornell.edu/Full-Time-MBA/Admissions/Important-Dates
indicates that final decisions will be posted by noon on the portal.

Out of curiosity, why would a deposit deadline matter much at this point to you?

I have to put a deposit down at Fuqua by 12/2 (Early Action) and am trying to figure out what if any schools I will hear back from by then.

Fuqua is a very good school. From your profile I can see that the only better school you are left to hear from is Tuck! If I were in your position, I would take the Fuqua offer.

Isn't early action at Fuqua binding? So a decision from Cornell wouldn't matter would it?

I've started a poll discussion about the topic of early admits withdrawing if you'd like to weigh in your thoughts and experiences.
