My experience with the reccos : I got Johnsons confirmation email after my first recommender submitted, but I didn't get one after the second one submitted.

Was at a Johnson event last night where I met Eddie Asbie for the first time!! Is it weird to freak out on the inside like I just met a celebrity? :boom

Anyways, he told us some interesting numbers, ~600 applications in R1 and ~1100 in R2!

Nope, nothing on acceptance rates or what average GMAT or GPA was. I'm guessing they'll try to stay within their usual target stats and target class size.

He did say that they do look over each application very carefully and mentioned that applications can be reviewed several times over the course of the application round.

That's the day they tell you an initial decision: interview, waitlist without interview, or deny.

I have applied in R2. Just got a decision notifciation of "wait list". I was not interviewed. This is just too fast. In 7 days flat.

Guys, what does this mean. What are my chances to convert this?

Maybe this was a glitch? 7 days seems like an irregularity. Probably send an email to the adcom and see if you can get a clarification/confirmation.

If that is the actual decision, that is a rough break. Sorry to about it, but it is at least better than a ding!

I got an email from Cornell stating that application decision is available. It came from their admission committee. I logged in and found the decision tab after login I . It says that I am on wait list and provides email id where I can send additional details to enhance my candidature.

This is crazy. I never thought this will happen so fast.

From Cornell deadlines page, I see that today 1 Year MBA applicants are supposed to get the notifications...are you applying for 1 yr or 2 yr?

Oh is it...I wish you all the best...Infact I've also applied for 1 yr MBA...though I've not received any email from Cornell yet but when i logged in my account, I see current status as "Schedule Interview"...so not sure what is it...i'm just taking it with a pinch of salt unless i get an email from Cornell.
