I got invited and was scheduled to do a Skype interview with the interviewer based on Australia. That's odd.
Does anyone have Skype interview based on Australia? I wonder whether he/she is an alumni or admission office.

I am more confused of why it has to be Skype from Aussie not from Ithaca.

My guess is that they figured it's easier to accomodate the time zones.

Yeah it might be that. I prefer a Skype Interview from Ithaca though because now I have to take an interview at 7.00 am instead of 11.00 pm (im not a morning person at all lol). Anyway thank you and good luck for us all!

I feel like they've got some poor intern that has to go through and email each person individually. Not sure what the delay between the online status update and the actual notification is about.
