By the way, does anyone know what the interview rate of Johnson is? i.e. how many % of the applicants they interview? Just curious if they're pretty "selective" already in that aspect.
Thanks!

We get about 2,200 applicants. We did about 700 to 800 interviews last year."
Considering a decent YoY increase from 2012 to 2015, Cornell must have received about 3000 applications from R1 and R2 with about 2000 of them coming in R2 alone. That would mean they must have invited around ~600 R2 applicants for the interview. With a total class size of 280, and R1 admissions, we would have about 160 seats available for R2. Do the math.
I actually did the math a while back and it ends up around 60-70% based on 2012 numbers.
I also talked to Eddie Asbie and he gave me rough numbers for applications in R1 & R2 (~600 & ~1100 respectively)
There's also a rolling round and I'm not sure how many people apply/get in at that time.
