@iceicevie Thanks a lot for replying! That gives me a much better approach and perspective to approach CR

Would you mind also providing an example of your thought process (what you mentioned about paraphrasing the conclusion)?

That would really help in crystallizing the whole strategy
...If it’s not too much to ask for :)

You need to read more. A lot more. Quality fiction with complex sentences. That way you can also pick up things like that fast is both adjective and adverb. There’s no word fastly. I mean, if you type it on your phone, it will underline it with red. That should be a pretty good indicator that your bul needs more attention and I don’t think you can get away with fastly Anything here… sorry to the bad news but this is how I see it if you’re not going to do a good job, you are wasting your time. Accept your current situation and your strength and weaknesses and get a different plan for either a different test or a different degree or a different career or a different timeline.

The key to getting a good score in RC is to practice every single day. That’s how improved. I solved 4 sets of RC everyday. It’s not even important which questions u r solving. GMAT OG or LSAT, sometimes you can take help from GRE RC. They r nice materials to practice too. And always remember, the correct answer is in the passage.

Aryan1811, visualize the problem as much as you can. Read the stem first , then read the whole question. After reading think of the question as if you have to explain the situation to a 10 year old kid

I hope this video from GMAT Club - Charles is useful. I am just starting preps myself and Im using this as a base.
If you still need a study group/buddy, do msg, we already have a study group up and active. Unfortunately, its getting more crowded such that I am struggling to keep up.
But you’re always welcomed if you are also willing to contribute and gain from the symbiosis. Most of us are also sitting for the exam around the same.

Hi guys, so I am stuck at a score of around 670 since over a month now (Q48, V35) . I also tried one of the coaching for Gmat and studied their material but my score isn’t improving. Specially in CR & RC, I am stuck at 70% efficiency. i have practiced a lot but still can’t get that efficiency in verbal. Any suggestions what should I do?

You can try improving ur quantity to a 50 or 51..Quantity is ur strong area. You could additionally practice more CR questions and RC LSAT Passages if you are out of practice sets.

Ok. One more thing... do these techniques like OCTAVE or others work for RC or CR? I am not following these, just reading the CR or RC questions and answering on my own understanding. I did not find any techniques useful. Should I use one? Thanks.

For me , a few things worked such as avoiding superlatives. But maybe I am not the best person to answer this since I scored a 38 in verbal.
