Hi guys. Trying to attempt GMAT at end of the month and doing
OG questions and already revised for 1 month. I am completing the
OG questions. Just wonder what is the accuracy rate for
OG HARD verbal questions? My easy and medium lv are ok (80-90%). But accuracy rate for hard questions significantly dropped to ~50%. Really frustrated me a lot. Is it a norm for everyone who do the
OG questions at their first attempt? Thank you
Okay,
OG Guide’s level is messed up. Sorry to say, but Hard still have a fair amount of Easy Q’s there. There’s a reason why I live in FORUM, the levels in FORUM are a good gauge tbh. Saying this cause at one point, I started copy-pasting the Q’s in FORUM to understand the level.
I believe the GMAT Club team have done an amazing job classifying this.

How difficult is scoring 760+ In GMAT cuz I’m new to it

Its hard to assess tbh. It all depends on how you personally perform and pick up speed. Also, previous experience or study background is hard to gauge. Personally, the areas I thought I was strong in became my main challenge points. I think its good if you have a solid plan that you’re constantly reviewing it. Practice Q’s and do mocks.
Another personal tip, you know you’re moving forward well when you’re able to answer Q’s in the top percentile with better accuracy and within the stipulated 2 mins.

Two ways to assess yourself:
1- Review a set of Q’s from FORUM, attempt them. There’s timer in FORUM Q’s for you time them - start from lower levels and then build up - thats the trick I’ve used
2- If you are indeed ambitious, attempt a Mock (honestly, super good gauge). There’s 2 free mocks available in MBA.com. And we all start there.

Sorry, If I am not interrupting between your conversation. All I want to say that scoring to the best to your ability depends how do you handle the test. Because, everyone uses the same material. So, it all depends how you are using it. Right?
I hate how true this is. Here’s a reality check if you’re using the Q’s to your advantage though it differs from people.
I love how Pooja hit us hard on facts.
