I just received my admissions packet by FedEx delivery. I live only a few hours away from Bloomington and may have received it sooner than most. The packet includes an admissions letter as well as a letter for a graduate assistantship appointment and a merit scholarship. There is also a leather binder filled with information about moving to Bloomington, Orientation timeline, Financials, and Student involvement. Pretty all encompassing. I expect the same materials will be on the admitted student site, but I have not been able to access it yet.

I was interested, but only with a good schol and GA. I dont think its worth paying that much, esp as an Indian.So now its time to put the head down and work on Tepper and Ross. One schools loss is other schools gain.:D

great to see someone willing to risk and forfeit some amount for a better school.But honestly tell me is the condition in the US job market good for us Indians seeking jobs.Any friends,statistics info etc

Ya its not bad. I have a few friends in Tepper and Ross. Its all a personal opinion. I prefer to go abroad.It will get me that international exposure that I am looking for.

I am applying for Tepper and Ross in R2. I am hopeful. But then again I was hoping for a schol from Kelley. Fisher and Krannert...been invited for an interview.

I guess its a good thing...now atleast ill concentrate 100% on Tepper and Ross. I was a little over confident all these days. So thanks to Kelley!:D. I thought they gave schol on GMAT score. may be my research was wrong and I am not that good as I tyhough. Have to work harder...:(

Tell me one thing !.Is there any difference between getting into kelley (with schols) or fisher (with schols)and a better school like Tepper or Ross (with schols) as far as landing up with jobs are concerned.I believe any one in top 30 are at par,what do you think.I follow Businessweek.

Even I got a similar reality check - i dont know what went wrong - I have 4 year + work ex, 740 GMAT, international experience, supply chain focus, had some alumni contacts and had big branding. But got dinged.
