Got an email saying waitlisted again, followed by an email from my WL manager saying that I'm in! They didn't call because of the time difference.

Thinking time now, for me.

wow - must be quite a roller coaster ride. In my very UNBIASED opinion, I think you should pick Kellogg and give your Duke spot to one of the WLers. (just kidding). They both are very similar schools in terms of the awesomeness of the student body, and you cannot go wrong with either one of them. Let us know what you decide.

Well, I know of at least one Fuqua admit who just backed out and is going to Tuck, so that's one spot.

My family all wants me to go to Duke, but I need some time to consider/talk it over that he wife. Kellogg was my #1earlier, but I am impressed with Duke's direction.

Good luck to those still waiting! More spots will appear, though I can imagine the wait is unbearable.

Wasn't able to post earlier, but I got the call and I'm in! So excited, and glad this roller coaster of a process is finally, truly over. Excited to put down my deposit and be done with the whole admissions process.

Congrats to all the others who got calls today and best of luck to those who are still waiting. Pulling for you all!

Got the call earlier today and I'm in too! I'm a round 1 waitlister, so it's definitely been a long time coming. Now I've definitely got some thinking to do over the next few days...

Wow when I left this thread it was like 2 people from the 2Y program admitted today. A very sincere congrats to everyone, but gotta say this stings a little bit. Not sure what hopes left for us remaining on the list.

Do let us know what you guys decide and congrats again.

Z,
Kindly come to Duke. I will need a late night partner to miss bus rides with going home from shooters.
Thx

:P

Ahh, Shooters. Just classy enough to suit me... What sort of bus leaves early like that?

I just saw the change of status. I'll look everything over and make a quick decision. I'm honestly a bit overwhelmed to have gone from no choices to 3 (now two).

If this came at the R1 deadline, I'd be at Kellogg in a split second. It's harder now that I've met so many cool Fuqua folks.

I updated our roster, but not sure about which round each person applied in since they weren't originally on there. It's just more names added to the lists who are now admitted.

Admitted off the waitlist! I also got an email saying that I was invited to remain on the wait list, but this was quickly followed up with a call from my WL manager with the great news. Best of luck to everyone waiting, stay strong.

Good luck to the WLers and congrats to people who got in. You guys, on the WL, are in a competitive pool. Don't lose hope.

Blount said that the quality of the applicant pool showed no decline despite significant increases in application volume. “It’s equivalent quality but we are also getting good two year candidates, where we have solid double-digit growth,” she added. “Our waitlist is awfully beautiful, filled with people with GMATs of 760, 740 and 720. That’s a nice waitlist. The same is true in our part-time program.”

I was added to the WL today as an R3... What is the general sense on this board as to what percentage of people end up receiving offers off the wait list?
