For round 1 applicants we kindly request that you wait until the week of January 7 to contact our office." - We wait this long to say we want to remain on the list (after finding out who our manager is) or do we send a quick e-mail saying I'm in and then call them on the 7th to find our manager and start discussing next steps?? All the waitlist people of R3 - how long is the wait?

I am an R2 international applicant to the 1Y program and got admitted on 7th May, after interviewing on 3rd Jan and waitlisted since 21st March. It was a long wait and now I have 1 month to leave my country and fly to the US. It is really a crazy ride, and I don't even know if I will make it on time!

Don't try to fill your head with percentages. As with all schools, there are no stats to lean on as to how many people get off waitlists. It all has to do with how many people applied, how many admitted have accepted the offer, etc. I know it's not what you want to hear, but it will be an exercise in futility if you try to figure it out. That being said, I've seen some posts that have mentioned people who got accepted over the summer off the waitlist, so all is not lost. Best of luck!

Got the notification for Waitlist today (round 3 applicant)... just checking in! Has anyone actually spoken with their waitlist manager and received any info aside from "please wait"?

Looks like somebody got in off the waitlist with the R3 admits yesterday. They posted on BTG. Anybody else hear anything, but not posted yet?

Same here..R3 waitlisted candidate. Havent received any further information from manager. Just to clarify, when they say offers are dispensed all summer, does that mean they are given out even after June 4th, the tuition deposit date?
