I have a feeling that all the interview invites have been sent out, or would be sent out maximum by this Monday-Tuesday, as Kellogg gives 15 days to an applicant to contact the alumni and get an interview scheduled.

Moreover, I assume that the alumni is given about a week thereafter, to complete the review form and provide his feedback to the school.
That's a total of 21 days. Its already the 10th; and Kellogg starts assessing the applications only after they have interviewed or given a waiver, to everyone.
I am sure that the decisions would be made by the 10th of December. Thats why its imperative that you hear from them within the next 2-3 days.

Keep your fingers crossed and expect to receive an email by Tuesday with an interview or a waiver.

Has anybody faced issues with alumni interviewer not responding back? Haven't heard from my interviewer in last 3 days. Is it ok to call up the alum and check OR just send a reminder email? Any suggestions??

Seems that i will receive an interview waiver from Kellogg soon. Technically speaking, there is no very much time for both interviewers and applicants to schedule new interviews for R1, so maybe those who are still waiting for interviews will probably receive waivers. Anyway, God bless us!!

Accomplished your interview? or you are making an appointmet with the alumni?? If it is the former, I don't suggest anything should be done; yet if the latter, you should contact AO or just call the alum ASAP.

Got an interview waiver. Does it mean they are going to take a decision based only on the application..?

They might still call you for skype interview if they feel it's necessary, from what I hear.

What's your location?

From what I gather from previous years' posts

- Kellogg's will send an email to candidates they want to interview, who have received a waiver in the first place on the 29th of November. The recipients will have to reply back with their preference and get the phone interview scheduled on or before the 5th of December
- A second batch of emails might be sent between the 2nd and 6th, asking the recipients to schedule their phone interview on or before the 8th or 9th
- Applicants who have received an interview waiver and who do not receive this email by the 6th, and have also not been interviewed before (second-time applicants) can assume that they have been dinged and move on
- One day before the deadline, on the 17th, some candidates will receive an email, which will state that the decision is available online. But when they check the application status, it will be the same. The application status will be updated on the deadline day itself. These applicants will either be wait-listed or dinged
- On the deadline day, some other applicants will receive the same email. The result is the same - waiting list or ding
- There will be a lot of activity on this forum around that time. Those of us, who do not receive an email, or whose application status is not updated can perhaps open a bottle of champagne (except some of us in the Middle East ;))
- Finally, on the deadline day itself, some of us will get a call from +1 847 or an unknown number and you can start screaming!!!!! (The application status for admitted candidates will be updated after 24-48 hours).

All the best guys!!!!

Only difference here is that 'second-time applicants' (re-applicants) are no longer able to use their interviews from the previous year. Last year, re-applicants were able to choose between requesting a new interview or using the evaluation from the interview they had when they first applied. However, this year it was mandatory for re-applicants to request a new interview.

And I also don't think that there will be necessarily two new invite waves, that is subject to the number of qualified applicants, and that's something we can't predict.

Great post, though! It must have took a while to compile such information. Thanks!

Reapplicants who received interview waivers. Is there a chance their last year interviews will be considered now that they have been waived?

Bro, I am not from Kellogg (hope I will be :))
Was just reviewing the pattern last year and the year before that. From what I understand, everybody was very anxious and nervous about everything (they had all reasons to be).
Thought of sharing this with everyone on this forum, to assist one and all :))
Cheers!

Reapplicants who received interview waivers. Is there a chance their last year interviews will be considered now that they have been waived?

I don't think so. It wouldn't be fair to those who are not reapplicants and have also been waived. And if they wanted to use last year's interview, they wouldn't have instituted this rule. That being said, I do believe that if your application is strong, they will interview you via phone or skype. And Kellogg does look favorably upon re-applicants (as students and the admissions officer who interviewed me on-campus very clearly stated).

Best of luck!
