That's some good news.
I guess they might soon be updating results for candidates in the waitlist. Some waitlisted candidates also saw same thing last year.
I got of the waitlist on 28th. I have also received an offer for a loan without cosigner in US. Is it a form of financial aid? On the decision portal it is written fellowship decision/financial aid will be taken in a few days time? SO should I wait for the fellowship decision or this is the only financial aid I am going to get.

After being waitlisted on April 28th, I was admitted today. I got the email described above and my waitlist status on the portal did change a few days ago as well.
I graduated from UNC MBA in recent past. Regret ever since --- severe shortage of jobs for Asian applicants (except-Computers). Wish I had missed a year and re-applied to other business colleges.
