FROM Krannert(Purdue) Admissions Blog: Thanks for making Purdue Day of Giving a success!
Purdue University alumni, staff and friends came together to make the first annual Purdue Day of Giving an overwhelming success. In total, the University raised $7.5 million. It’s always amazing what we can accomplish when we focus on a goal together.


One of Krannert’s Presidential Scholars, Thomas Fisher, is featured in the Purdue Day of Giving Thank You video.

At Krannert, the funds raised will go to support five areas:

  • Business Opportunity Program
  • Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities
  • Scholarships
  • Study Abroad
  • Unrestricted Gifts
We want to thank you for your support in these areas which will directly benefit current and future students. We especially want to thank our international alumni who donated during a predetermined hourly challenge. They raised more during that hour than any of the other 43 Purdue units, and earned Krannert a $5,000 bonus. Well done!

Krannert alumni Robbie Hummel and Carolyn Woo made videos in support of Day of Giving, as did master’s students Najib Yang and Sylvester Peoples. Julia Kalish, voted #1 in the “Best Professor” category for the entire Purdue campus by Exponent readers, made a great video in the spirit of giving that included an answer to a homework question.

We appreciate all of their efforts as well as the students and alumni who interacted with us on social media sharing their gratitude for all the opportunities granted them by a Krannert education.

We hope you’ll join us again during the next Purdue Day of Giving on April 30, 2015. Thank you for so generously supporting the next generation of global business leaders at Krannert!

I submitted my app on 15th Jan. The application status is still "Submitted". Does it change when the app is reviewed or we directly get a call for the interview ?

No the status will not change, you will get an email requesting an interview
